I'm having a problem whenever I try to drag the RadGridview component to the form. It would prompt an error, "Microsoft Visual Studio has encountered a problem and needs to be close", and then it would restart the Visual Studio. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

Dynamically change the Step/Min/Max value

Hi,

I have drawn a chart with some values. I want to change the Step/Min/Max values whenever i clicked/drag the mouse on the chart.

Is there any way to change the step of the chart when the mouse click/drag on the chart.

DateTimePicker stays on top when mdichild closes

Hi,

I've got an MDI Application in which there are MDIChildforms whom contain RadDateTimePickers. when the Windowstate of the mdichilform is normal, the datetimepicker is selected (showing the calendar) and i then close the childform, the calendar still stays on top. If you click inside the calendar, the application will crash because the control doesnt exist anymore...

Any help?

RadWebBrowserItem

I'm keen to use RadWebBrowserItems in carousel.

I can get multiple browser items - navigate them etc.

What I want is only the selecteditem to be full size and function as
a browser.
The others in the background i want to resize the WHOLE viewable
area of the webpage into the reduced background size . So ie: shrink
the non selected ones but keep everything on the page still showing.

I also want to get the non selected ones to be brought back as bitmaps
to disallow link clicking on background items.

Need help understanding how to use the getasbitmap methods.

DragDrop problems

We are having several problems with radTreeview:

1) If the target tree is empty there seems to be no way to get the right events to fire - so we cannot add new nodes. There are ugly work-arounds like adding a dummy node on mouseEnter but thats no good.

2) DragAndDrop between two treeviews seems to have a lot of bugs as well.

What we are trying to accomplish is this:

1) on the left a tree view with some stuff in it. On the right an empty tree view.

2) allow the user to drag items from left treeview to right treeview.

This should be easy and it is not.

GridView column resize

Hello. I am evaluating the GridView product and had a few quick questions...

Is there was a way to have the columns automatically sized to fit it contents? It seems that the only choice is "Fill" which doesn't give me what I am after. I guess I am looking for functionality that is similar to the Microsoft DataGridView "AutoSizeColumnsMode" property that can be set to:

None
ColumnHeader
AllCellsExceptHeader
AllCells
DisplayedCellsExceptHeader
DisplayedCells
Fill

Also, when I change the "BackColor" for the grid, it does not seem to have an effect. Am I missing something?

How to apply the Baroverlap percentage to some series only

hi,

I have 4 series in my chart. I have to apply the baroverlappercentage to 2 series only. The 2 other series should not overlap.

Is there any way to do this one.

(or) I want 2 stacked bars with 4 series in a single chart.

Problem Positioning RadChart Legend

1. Drop chart onto form

2. Skin –deepblue

3. Style – spline

Using two series, try and get the legend to position in rows in the top left. In the visual designer it looks correct but as soon as it runs the legend positions are incorrect – the text moves out of alignment with the marker.

please advise why this occuring. sorry for brevity my first posting attempt was lost with some website error..

Change axis plot values after databind?

For example, if I am binding my chart to a dataset I could write some code like this:

    
            Me.RadChart1.DataManager.DataSource = myDataSet 
        
            Me.RadChart1.DataManager.ValuesXColumn = "SomeValue"

Is it possible, after a databind, to get access to those plot values of "SomeValue" so that they can be updated later on? I realize that I could change the dataset value and rebind if needed, but I am wondering if it is possible to get access to the values in the chart once they are bound.
