With the introduction of supporting MVC controls in Kendo UI, my question is, are you guys going to be developing two separate lines of controls, one for Kendo UI and another as a MVC wrapper in parallel ?
Or will both series merge into one set?
Thanks!

The Q2 2012 release contains new features and updates for the existing Telerik Extensions. After the Q2 2012 release, the Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC will receive 3 releases over the next year - consisting primarily of bug fixes and minor enhancements. Development of Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC is discontinued in Q3 of 2013.

Perhaps, I didn't make my question clear.
I'm aware of the extension life with Telerik MVC. But my question was within Kendo UI structure.
Currently we have a series of Kendo UI widgets that are super nice. Now, Your team has decided to bring the Telerik MVC extension under the umbrella of Kendo UI as MVC wrappers. So, we have two sets of controls. One Kendo UI widgets and two the MVC wrappers.
My question was, is your team going to carry the development of both lines in parallel or will they both merge into one?
Hope this clarifies my question.

As stated in the FAQ Kendo UI Complete for ASP.NET MVC will replace Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC. In my previous reply I said that we will be releasing minor updates for three releases. So yes, for three releases there will be parallel development.

My question is, under Kendo UI, we now have Kendo UI widgets and MVC extension wrappers. Will you be continuing the MVC wrappers dalong side the Kendo Widgets and grow them both or are the MVC Ext. just temporary?
The reason I ask this, for new development can we use the MVC wrappers knowing there is life to it or will you be dropping it? Nothing to do with Telerik MVC anymore?
Unless I'm totally missing your roadmap. Hope this clears it.

Yes, we will be investing development time in Kendo UI Complete for ASP.NET MVC - adding new features, new wrappers for new widgets etc. Kendo UI Complete for ASP.NET MVC will evolve together with Kendo UI.
