Actually I think they have fairly good support compared to many other companies. I also see them reply to quite a lot of posts and take the extra steps to attach source files and/or JSFiddles ready for copy/paste. If you're looking for even better support, you can purchase a commercial license like I have even though so far I haven't needed to use any additional support other than these forums. With the commercial license you also get access to internal builds and service packs not available to Open Source licensees. Also you have to keep in mind that they just released Kendo a few months ago and are probably going 100/mph trying to add more features and polish for their upcoming March release which is just around the corner.

I would like to mention that Telerik does not guarantee replies to Kendo UI forum posts. This is mentioned in our licensing FAQ.
If you need guaranteed response from Telerik support consider purchasing a commercial license. You would also get access to service pack releases and hotfix builds.
