For NumericTextBox configuration of "format",
 the total documentaton is:
"Specifies the format of the number. Any valid number format is allowed."
This is useless.

Hello guys,

The number formatting documentation could be found in "Getting Started" section >> Framework >> Globalization. Here is the direct link:
All of the formats described there could be used with Kendo widgets that support format configuration.

All the best,

Thanks for this, was wondering the same thing.

hey, Kendo folks: have you considered just linking the phrase 'valid number format' in the documentation at http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/web/numerictextbox#configuration-format to the location indicated in the post above? That way, we don't have to google for it and eventually find the relevant info in a forum post. Seems like a lot of your documentation could be vastly improved by simply linking to relevant definitions elsewhere in you own documentation. just a thought.

Hi Travis,

Thank you for the feedback. I added a link to the number formatting getting started topic in NumericTextBox API reference just like you suggested.
The changes should be published live in a short period of time. Do not hesitate to contact us or hit us with a pull request in case you notice more gaps in the docs.
