I can't seem to find any documentation regarding what .CSS files are required to get a custom theme working. If I just copy the .css from the theme-builder, the theme appears to break.

Do I also need to add common.min and default.min? I tried these but I don't want to add more .css that I don't need.

TIA

Hello Ray,

kendo.common.css is always required:

http://docs.kendoui.com/getting-started/web/appearance-styling

When you have a custom theme built with the ThemeBuilder, no other theme CSS file needs to be registered.

I have included the above note at:

http://docs.kendoui.com/getting-started/themebuilder#using-the-output-from-the-themebuilder

Hello Ray,

Well, I don't see a difference between what I have said and what Alex has said.

1. kendo.common.css is always required (when using web widgets)

2. kendo.common.css is not a theme CSS file, that's why it is still required, even when you use a custom theme created with the ThemeBuilder

3. when using a custom theme created with the ThemeBuilder, no other theme should be registered on the page (Default, BlueOpal, Metro, etc), because the Kendo UI widgets work with one theme at a time

Let me know if there is anything unclear.

You'll see my correction above. This makes perfect sense. I ended up reading what you wrote as "Not" required.
