While it would be helpful, I would actually be against Kendo UI releasing one as Kendo UI is platform agnostic. Also, what would you want in the template, it is really only adding the references in your layouts and adding the files into your projects file structure.

Maybe a Nuget package would be better?

Hello,

Indeed Kendo UI is platform agnostic. You can use it with any server-side technology which outputs HTML.
However we plan to provide server-side wrappers for various popular platforms. They would complement the Kendo UI widgets.

As a start we have just uploaded a NuGet package for Kendo UI Web which you can install from Visual Studio. We will provide a Ruby gem soon as well.

Dean,
What version of WebMatrix are you using? If using v1, then you can add NuGet packages from the Web Pages Administration panel. If using v2, then you can check out this link: http://www.microsoft.com/web/post/nuget-integration-in-webmatrix-2-beta

I added a source to the Gallery

Package Name:    KendoUIWeb
Package URL:      https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=206669

Only 38 packages were showing as total - once the new source was added - all 3,000+ NuGet Packages were available
on my machine.  I  searched for Kendo - and the KendoUIWeb - nuget appeared in search results and I installed.

Note:  I had installed the NuGet 1.5 Manager - then searched for Kendo...   to get the Package Source
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=206669

Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure what is wrong at your side but here is a link to the package:

http://nuget.org/List/Packages/KendoUIWeb

And here is the package in Visual Studio (attached as screenshot).
