Hi Telerik,
We are writing a Silverlight appliction by using Telerik reporting. It seems that the report viewer shows only one page one time. To browse the next page, you need to click the next button on the report viewer. It is ok for me, but this may cause some problems for  our clients. They would like to see the next page by scrollling down the vertical scroll bar. When the scroll bar reaches at end of current page, it will jump to the next one. The version we are using now is  2010 Q3. Does the current version of report viewer have this function?

Hi Yuting,

Thank you for your interest in Telerik reporting and your feedback.
Currently the only way to navigate to next/previous page is by using the report viewer toolbar, however we already have some ideas on "interactive view" for the viewers and we would be working on it for forthcoming releases.

Kind regards,
Steve

Hello Telerik team,

what is the current state of this feature (request)? Do you still plan to bring it sometime soon? Is there an entry in your issue tracking system?

I would like to build an Office 2010 'look and feel' printing dialog into our application, using your WPF Report Viewer. So this feature is really missing. Nobody really wants to navigate between pages with this tiny little button.

But I guess (and hope) it should be possible to tweak your dialog to achieve this behavior (with reasonable amount of time). What I am actually more worrying about, is displaying two or more pages at a time. Do you have a solution to this problem or plan to include this feature anytime soon?

Thanks and best regards, Stefan

Hi Stefan,

The paging mechanism of the viewer cannot be altered to show several pages ("interactive view") at once without the changes I mentioned in previous reply. They are logged into our system and we hope that we would be able to introduce first version for the Q3 release (no promises though).
As for altering the look of the Silverlight Report Viewer, you can use Blend for this purpose as explained in the Creating Style in Expression Blend help article.
General information on styling templated controls is available in the Styling a control that supports templates MSDN article.

Kind regards,
