Hello Guys,

My Kendo App consists of a view with GoogleMap, and other views. The other views are redrawing the map in the background. However I have a problem: when I switch back to the GoogleMap view: the map looks completely off screen... I have triggered a re-draw of the map when coming back to the map view: it works on Google Chrome but not on Samsung Androids, nor Apple iPad2.
I don't know if my problem is related to Kendo, or GoogleMap.
The live URL is:
http://www.semiconductorconnect.org/kendo/
Steps:
1- go the Filter tabstrip
2- change country (ie: Finland)
3- come back to the map

Regards.

Just wanted to confirm my Kendo UI Mobile version: 2013.2.918.commercial.

I think it is a view/Kendo problem (and not a GoogleMap problem).

Thank you for your time.

Hi Sean,

The problem might be coming from the fact that you are redrawing the map in the background, but it is not actually redrawn as it is not displayed on the screen. So please try re-sizing and centering the map after it is shown in the view, so you will make sure that the map is correctly sized and placed.

Hurray~~ I got it~  \\(^0^)//
I needed to use the attribute data-show, added on the target view of the map.
<div data-role="view" id="two-drawer-home" data-title="SC Industry Map" data-layout="mobile-tabstrip" data-stretch="true" data-show="refreshMap">

Just an update on this: it makes it easier to refresh the map after it's on the same view~ so that it does this once (instead of twice: background + view).
