Hello,
I am trying to run vertical page borders along the report vertical edges. I can't seem to find a way to make a border appear between the detail footer (actually a group footer) and the pagefooter. There is always a gap.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
Currently there is no way to achieve such result with Telerik Reporting. You can see the available report sections and the order in which they are rendered in the Understanding Report Sections help article. The PageFooter section is always rendered at the bottom and the sections before it does not necessarily fill the space to it i.e. if there are only a couple of detail items and a single group, the space between the group footer and the page footer would remain unoccupied.
Nevertheless your scenario makes sense and we will have it in mind when working on future versions.
Best wishes,
Steve

Has any progress been made on this? I really just want to have a border around the page. My thought is why not allow the border style that already exists on the report act as a page border? Currently if you set this property on the report it actually does nothing and this is what I suspected would allow me to set the border that I wanted.

Hello Kevin,
The missing report border in page oriented formats is a known issue that is logged in our bug tracking system for investigation and we would look into it for subsequent versions. Unfortunately there is no workaround that we can offer for the time being.

Hi Nathan,
This is the answer from the other forum thread you posted the same questions:
"Please download the latest Telerik Reporting Q1 2013 version and check the border settings available through the PageSettings properties. The border will be displayed in PrintPreview mode of the selected viewer."
In future please avoid double-posting the same questions.

Stef
