Using ModalView in a SplitView Pane

We are trying to activate the ModalView element to cover the whole page from a button in one of the SplitView panes. If we include the modal view div in the same pane as the button, the modal view works but only covers that pane. If we try moving the modal view div outside the pane, we get an 'openFor' undefined error. If we try to add the modal view div into the split view panel, we get a formatting/layout error. How can we cover the whole page with the modal view with a button in a split view?

Hi Maddy,

I am afraid that at present this functionality is not supported out of the box. The modal view mark-up should be present in the views/layout mark up and will be displayed as modal only for it's parent pane.
