Hello Selvamani,
The behaviour that you observed is expected. Kendo UI supports old browsers such as IE7 and IE8 with some minor limitations, e.g. CSS3 rounded corners and linear gradients are ignored, as the browser does not recognise the modern CSS rules. This is known as progressive enhancement.
