How do I add my own User Functions to the report designer?

Hi Stephen,
In case you want to add user functions to your report in the Visual Studio designer here is the related article: User Functions.
As for the Report Designer - currently this option is not available, but we're working on adding it for subsequent version of the product.

You should reference a custom.dll which will contain the user functions.

Hello Jason,
As my colleague mentioned in a previous post, in order to use your custom functions in the Standalone Report Designer you will need to reference an assembly with those functions in the Telerik.Reporting configuration section. This has to be done in order to expose your business objects to the Telerik Reporting engine. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this please see the Extending Report Designer help article.
