Hi Arkan,

You can use your current version indefinitely. So as long as you use the same 2016 version of the HTML5 Report Viewer with the same 2016 version of the Reporting REST service, then it should fine work in an application that lets you use HTML5 and jQuery.

Though I should urge caution, you will want to carefully review your modern project's dependencies to ensure that it will work well with jQuery being loaded for the view that has the ReportViewer on it. There may be some considerations when mixing jQuery with your Angular or Blazor project, so I recommend a small test project to try it out first.

Blazor and Angular Report Viewers

Now to directly address your question, you do not have access to the Blazor Report Viewer or the Angular Report Viewer because those were developed and released after 2016. Therefore, if you would like to use either one of them, you would need to renew your license.

Renewing your license has extra benefits like getting the new Web Report Designer and Report Server. Additionally, you will again have access to Technical Support throughout your license's active status to help you implement the new viewer.

Upgrading Note

If you updating an existing project from 2016 to 2022, you will want to review the release history for breaking changes in your reports. Especially in R1 2017, there were breaking changes that you can address by reviewing that documentation, which visually shows you the changes along the way in an easy to read fashion.
