- Visual Studio 2019
- From the Bin folder of the applications, my current installed Telerik version is 2022.2.510.40
- Applications written in C# and another VB.Net
- I've updated each and every Telerik products from the Control Panel
- When solution is loaded, I receive the flying windows saying that an update is available, proposing to "UPDATE NOW" or "DISMISS"
- If I choose "UPDATE NOW", the wizard starts
- The wizard completes in a fraction of a second, resulting in:
This happens for all my WinForms applications.
Any idea?

Hi Philippe,
In the latest release we introduced a bug in the upgrade wizard for Visual Studio 2019. We will fix this in short terms and you will receive an automatic update of Telerik UI for WinForms extension in Visual Studio.
Meantime, you can take a look at this article which describes different upgrade options.

Hi Philippe,
I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding. Today we released a new version of Telerik UI for Winforms extension. It will be updated automatically in Visual Studio.The issue with Visual Studio 2019 Upgrade wizard is resolved and you should expect the following behavior:
- The projects targeting from .NET Framework 4.0 to .NET Framework 4.7 will be upgraded with binaries built against .NET Framework 4.0 (under Bin40 folder).
- The projects targeting .NET Framework 4.8 will be upgraded with binaries built against .NET Framework 4.8 (under Bin48 folder).
Please, keep in mind that all projects that target .NET Framework 4.8 and have references to binaries built against .NET Framework 4.0, will be upgraded to binaries built against .NET Framework 4.8.
We’ll continue working on delivering a new featured and reliable Telerik UI for WinForms Visual Studio extension.
