The UI for WPF Demo no longer works on my work workstation running Windows 10 Enterprise. The demo loads and you can get to the list of controls to explore, but on clicking any control I get the following error "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation." I have tried reboots and also rerunning the setup fresh from the Telerik website, but still get the same issue.

The demo worked yesterday (08/03/2017). No Windows updates, driver installs/updates, or any other changes have been made to the system between the time the demo application worked and stopped working.

Hello Kyle,

We're currently unaware of such an issue with our WPF Controls Examples application, so what I can suggest is to do a complete uninstall of the program, download a fresh copy from the following link and install it again.

Do let me know if this solves your issue.

Yes, the uninstall then re-install worked (versus my prior attempts to just rerun the installer on that current installation).

Thank you.

Hi Traykov,

I'm using the demo application learning usages and examples. Very often I recognized that the code attached to the demo is not  complete: missing some base classes or missing dll. That makes me impossible to rebuild the project via Visual Studio. I tried to search in my computer for the demo code but there's no proper file locally either. As the pic I attached below I could not find where the base class "DataSourceViewModelBase" locates.

can u give me some suggestiones or where to download the source codes?

Regards,
Yi

Hello Yi,

Indeed, some of the example files are not listed in the demos application. To get them you can download the Visual Studio solution with the demo application and find them there. See how to download the source code in the help documentation. Basically, you should go to the Downloads page in your telerik.com account. See also the Download Product Files article.

Hello Martin

I found there's nothing in the dropdown of Products & Subscriptions tab, shown in the png below.

Could you tell me what's wrong with my account?

Best Regards,

Yi

Hello Yi,

The Products & Subscription dropdown will contain products only if you have an activated developer license for the corresponding products. From the attached picture I can see that you have a downloaded a trial version. In this case, you can click on the "Download" button of the UI for WPF section in the Manage Trials page. This will open the download page with all available file from the UI for WPF suite. There you can go to the "Resources" section and download the "Telerik_UI_for_WPF_<version>_Demos.zip" file.
