I'm having trouble finding out how to accomplish this...I'm on Reporting Q1 2010.
I'm creating an invoice report. It has a header, footer, and a detail section in the middle with the line items on the invoice. It's a half page report (8.5 x 5.5) that needs to print twice on one full page, and will be torn on a perforation in the middle, giving the user 2 copies. If there's not too many line items, there's no problem. However, when the line items exceed what fits on the first page, I need them to overflow to a 2nd page. I've attached an image to represent what I'm trying to do.
I've tried the Report Book, but each report starts on a new page, so that won't work.
I've also tried doing it with Subreports. However, the detail section just keeps going when there's too many items, which eventually just "pushes" the 2nd copy over onto a new page.
What is the best way to accomplish this?

Hello Jay,
The paging mechanism of Telerik Reporting would put automatically the overflowing content on the consecutive page. Also such printer settings are out of the scope of the reporting engine. You can use third party plugins for Adobe PDF Readers, where the user can define that the same content should be printed twice on a single page. Thus you will need to generate a single report once and the rest will be printer settings.

Are there any plans to make a "copies per page" option? I can't find a suitable third party. Not to mention ALL my reporting is already in telerik.

Hi Jay,
Currently there are no plans for such feature. The suggested third party tools should be integrated with the document reader. For example searching the web for "multiple pages per sheet" brings this result: Acrobat Help / Print multiple pages per sheet | Acrobat, Reader.
Depending on the used technology, you can test to programmatically export into other format e.g. IMAGE format, and then use custom logic to build a new document as required and print it.
