Hi,

I've problem with the latest (v2013.1.319) version of treeView.
When I add node using API it is added correctly ... but when I collapse it I cannot expand it again.
This problem occurs also on your demo site:
http://demos.kendoui.com/web/treeview/api.html
when you press "Append Node" and try the steps that I've just described.
Thanks,

Bart.

Hello Bartosz,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are aware of the issue and it is already fixed. Please download the latest internal build where the fix is applied and the dynamically added nodes are expanded and collapsed as expected.

I wish you a great day!

Hi Dimiter,

Where can I download that internal version? I'm using  "kendo.web.js" to get TreeViewand. When I downloaded the latest version ("http://www.kendoui.com/download.aspx") of Kendo Web UI it looks like that same that I have and the bug still occurs.
Thanks,

Bart.

Hello Bartosz,

Downloading of internal builds is available only for customers. If your company already owns a license that includes Kendo UI, the best way to proceed is to ask the license holder to add you as a licensed developer. This way you would get all the benefits of the license, including direct access to all latest internal builds for the corresponding product.

I hope this information was helpful. Don't hesitate to contact us again if you have further questions.

Hello Mr. Madjarov,
Can you share with us when this fix will be made available as part of an official release?  We are heavily relying on the API functionality for manipulation of the TreeView and are running into this issue as well.
Are any workarounds available?

Thanks & Regards,

Hello Anton,

The exact date of the next official release is not yet announced. However, you can use the internal builds in production environments, since they include only incremental bugfixes. As Dimiter said in the previous message, please ask the license holder to add you as a licensed developer so that you can download the builds.

All the best,
