Is it possible to style the tooltip so it can have an arrow similar to this:

I am afraid the desired outcome is not supported in Kendo UI Chart and I cannot suggest a suitable workaround. If you wish you can submit this idea as a feature request at our UserVoice portal - this way the community can evaluate it and if the suggestion gains popularity we will consider its implementation.
