Hello,

In testing your q3 beta of RadControls for WPF, I believe I have run into a bug with the new TileView control when using it in a WinForm. The TileView control displays properly, however the ability to drag and drop the individual tiles does not work.  This functionality is present when the WPF UserControl containing the TileView is hosted in a WPF Application, however I cannot get it to work when hosting in a WinForm.

Is there something special that I need to do to get the Tileview to function properly in a Windows Form?

Thanks,

Ben

Hello Ben,

Thank you for your feedback, we were not aware of this issue.

Unfortunately I cannot think of a  workaround for this problem.

We will look into this for the Q3 release. In the meantime if we come up with a solution, I will reply here.

Your Telerik Points have been updated.

Miroslav,

Just got the Q3 release of WPF controls. And I'm running into the same problem except when i try to drag the TileViewItem I'm getting a NullReferenceException.

I also get a NullReferenceException when having a RadGridView inside of the TileViewItem and I expand it. It only seems to happen occasionally.

is there anything i can do so i wont get this error?

Thanks Much

Hi Boots,

thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the priority of this bug did not allow us work on it for the Q3 release. However, I will now escalate its priority and it will be fixed for the upcoming service pack. I hope this time frame is acceptable for you.
