Hi guys,
I think you are missing ThicknessConverter declaration in "Customizing appearance of the radial gauge" help topic.

Hi Miha Markic,
RadGauge does contain a ThicknessExpressionConverter class, please review this page. In order to access it, you only need to create a resource in XAML in the same way as you've pointed and simply use it in your code.
