Thx for your answer. You point to an article on how to change the global theme, I only want to use the change the theme for a specific compontn. Any ideas how to do that ?

Hi Bart,
It is currently not possible to define themes per component. One of the reasons for this is that the Kendo UI Themes all reside in different stylesheets. Thus, if we want to apply a specific theme to a widget, the entire stylesheet has to be plugged around the widget as a wrapping element. This could potentially lead to other issues, style clashes, prevent and make difficult customization with CSS, etc.
