The RTF export option does not render the borders correctly

Hi,

We use Q3 2012 build 6.2.12.1123 for telerik reports and RTF export option does not render the chart borders correctly. All the other formats exports as expected without any formatting issue. Kindly suggests the way to fix the formatting issue or does any upgrades are required to fix this issue.

Hello Taiye,

While exporting to the RTF format there are certain limitations like Inset and Outset Borders are not supported. These limitations are explained further in the Design Considerations for RTF Rendering help article. In order to display the border around the chart correctly, you have to account for the border width when positioning the chart. If you position it right next to the report border, the top chart border will be cut off as shown in your screenshot. If you position the item, so some space is left around it i.e., account for the border width, the borders will be shown correctly.
