Hi Mattias,

Generally speaking it will be possible to upload image to different domains via the upcoming image browser tool for the Editor widget if the server is CORS enabled. This however means that it will be not supported in IE.

I'm able to use CORS in IE just fine: https://github.com/Malvolio/ie.xhr

I haven't used it to upload files...but use it to make AJAX requests cross domain.
