The 'ObjectContent`1' type failed to serialize

Hi,

While im selecting "Select All" option in the filter, then its showing the below error.

Unable to get report parameters.

An error has occurred.
The 'ObjectContent`1' type failed to serialize the response body for content type 'application/json; charset=utf-8'.

We tried to update Newtonsoft.json to latest version then also we are getting the same issue. We are having 200 customers only in that filter.

Telerik Version 13.0.19.22.

Can anyone please help me on that?

Hi Kesavan,

In R2 2018 we have updated the Newtonsoft.Json dependency to 9.0.1. Thus my suggestion is to verify that the project is referring to Newtonsoft.Json 9.0.1. If you update to a newer version, include/modify the corresponding bindingRedirect for Newtonsoft.Json in the configuration file of the project (Web.config). For more information see this upgrade path article.

We strongly recommend using our Upgrade Wizard to update the existing projects. The wizard will make all the required changes in the project and create a back up before modifying it.
