TextArea control issue

TextArea control does not take enter & show it properly in Google chrome, Mozila & Edge browser. It works properly only in IE. 

Can you please help us how it can work same for all the browsers.

We are using the version 2011.1.315.235 of Telerik.web.mvc.dll

Hi Eyup,

The issue is happening whenever putting enter key & save the data in SQL DB. Its showing properly new line in IE 11 but not in other browsers.
In case non- IE browsers, new line are not showing but works fine & show the data properly in IE.

Please check the issue & let me know the update so that I can inform the same to my team.

Steps tp reproduce the issue :

1. Type same data in the textarea tool in application, use three paragraphs with special character
2. Save the data in SQL DB by application
3. Display the data from DB to textarea tool by application.
4. Check the process from IE 11, Mozila Firefox, Google chrome, Microsoft Edge.

Note : Version 2011.1.315.235 of Telerik.web.mvc.dll

Can this issue be resolved if we upgrade the textarea control.

I have attached the step that we are performing , please let us know if we use new Telerik version will this be resolve or not.

Sure, I can test that for you.

However, let's clarify the following first: you mentioned that you are using Version 2011.1.315.235 of Telerik.web.mvc.dll, but I couldn't find or track any licenses for this account from that time. Neither from now.

Could you first contact your License Representative of your company and ensure that they add your account as a Licensed Developer. Or they can also contact our Sales department for questions.

Once this is done and I see an active license attached to your account, I can then fully test the mentioned behavior and even suggest a viable workaround, if there is any issue that is.

I've checked that and it seems that Enter is working properly on my side in all browsers:

Can you share whether you have any errors in the F12 browser console? How can I reproduce the described issue on my side so I can troubleshoot it further?
