Hi ,

I have made the Master /Detail sub report and execute well in my local machine ,however when i publish the code and try to view the Master /Detail report i am not getting the sub report content while i am getting only the master table content at the same time all my reports are executing at local and in publish code i do not understand why this is happening only for Master/Detail subreporting.

I am using the following trial version.

Telerik_Reporting_2008_3_1402_trial

Thanks,
Neeraj.

Hi Neeraj,

We've already replied to your colleague's support ticket, so please avoid opening multiple threads on the same matter. Anyway here is the answer:

Such deployment issues are usually related to the connectionString of the reports. If you have used the Report Wizard to create the reports, you have a choice to save your connectionString to the web.config initially and then re-use it for all next reports you create. You can do that easily from our report wizard, by using the "Save the Connection String" dialog, which automatically creates app.config and settings files containing the needed attributes. Then all you need to do is change the connectionString at a single location before deploying your project.
If you're not using this approach, then by default the connectionString is saved in the typed dataset created by the report wizard, so prior to deploying your application, you should change the connectionString for each dataset used in the reports (see attached screenshot).
The strange part here is that this only happens for the subreport, when if this is the case it should happen for any report. So please check that and verify that your subreport is getting data. If still having problems, please elaborate how you bind the subreport and any additional information that you find relevant.
