Currently, I have created a report with no column groups. I am trying to create a data alert using Telerik reporting server. When I select the report in general section and in rules when I try to open the drop down it is empty as shown in the link below.

There is no code for this. It is a static report designed using Telerik report designer. I have tried creating multiple report types and tried using data alerts but of no use. How can I get data alert feature to work using Telerik Report server? Any help is appreciated. I've looked at the documentation for data alert and is not useful.

Hi Harsha,
If the report does not contain a data item bound to data, a data alert will not be helpful as rules are generated based on the report's data fields.
Please use the Standalone Report Designer to save the report locally as a TRDX file (File> Save As option) and post the XML content of the TRDX file here. This will let us preview the report on our machines and to check what happens when you try to create an alert.
