Telerik Report PDF Accessibility Heading Tags

Hi,

I'm trying to produce PDF reports that is accessible. Its is required that we use Heading Level Tags to comply with accessibility requirements.

Is there a way to tag Textbox elements with Heading Level Tags ?

Hello Michael,

I noticed that you have asked the same question in a support ticket. I have replied there, and for the benefit of our community will copy my answer also here:

When you enable Accessibility for the PDF reports, it creates additional metadata and structural elements in order to satisfy the PDF/UA (ISO standard 14289-1) requirements. We place tags on our report items that are TextBoxes, Tables, etc. We don't have Heading elements though. That said, by default, our Accessibility functionality will tag the PDF elements as TextBox, HtmlTextBox, Barcode, etc. - see the Report Items we provide.

As a workaround, you may use the property AccessibleDescription. The property value is an expression and it determines what will be the accessibility label when the report is rendered. You may check the following links for more details:
