Telerik Project Crashed ... Unable to load project

Hi there.

Since today I'm trying to open my projected with telerik Win Controls, I'm trying to open my project. Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Crashes..

same time i'm trying open other projects it opens without any problem

 

Microsoft Visual Studio has stopped working....

Can anyone help.. as my project is very important.

When I'm trying to add new Telerik Win Form  the following message

Hi Athiq,

Could you please send us some screenshots of the exact steps you follow while trying to add the RadForm to your project?

Check if selecting another item in the Solution Explorer before adding the RadForm helps and let us know.

If this doesn't help please try to reinstall Telerik WinForms VSExtensions by following these steps:

1. In Visual Studio menu select Tools -> Extensions and Updates...
2. Find and select Telerik WinForms VSExtensions entry.
3. Click Uninstall then Yes and restart Visual Studio when prompted.
4. Start Tools -> Extensions and Updates... again.
5. In the left pane select Online->Visual Studio Gallery.
6. In the search box in the right pane type "Telerik WinForms VSExtensions".
7. In the middle results pane click Download on the Telerik WinForms VSExtensions result.
8. Wait for download and installation to complete and restart Visual Studio when prompted.

It worked!

I followed the steps as you mentioned  to reinstall Extensions. now my previous telerik project loads without any trouble. and I can add new RadForm too.

one more request from Admin. I purchased this Telerik license for Reporting use in Windows Desktop application. 

having license for a year i did not use Reporting service can you please send me  a sample link example on how to build Telerik Reports for Windows Application.

Hi athiq,

Your question is forwarded to Telerik Reporting.

Please check the tutorials in the Quickstart section.
Once you design a report it has to be wrapped in a Report Source providing information about the format of the report (VS report, XML, TRDX|TRDP file or a run-time instance).

Finally, you can use the Report Source object as a WinForms ReportViewer's ReportSource. We provide VS item template which will guide in the configuration steps of the viewer - How to: Add report viewer to a Windows Forms' Form.


Local examples with reports and all available viewers are provided with your Telerik Reporting installation under C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\Reporting <VERSION>\Examples.
