Hi

In the WPF PDFViewer, there doesn't currently appear to be a way to tab (or use any other keyboard navigation) between form fields.

I see that this has been on the feedback portal for 2 years: https://feedback.telerik.com/wpf/1354935-pdfviewer-support-for-tab-navigation-between-form-fields

Is there a way to work around this limitation and allow clients to use keyboard navigation between fields?

Thanks

Guy

Hello Guy,

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues due to a not supported functionality. As you already found out we have an item logged in our backlog to provide this functionality: PdfViewer: Support for Tab navigation between form fields. This item has a relatively high priority but I cannot engage with a specific date it will be implemented. I am afraid I cannot provide you with a workaround, so please, make sure you cast your vote for the implementation as well as subscribe to the task by clicking the Follow button so you can receive updates when its status changes.

Hi Martin

Thank you for the feedback here.

Is there a way to make the widget edit mode trigger on a single click? Currently you need to click twice onto a field to start editing it, which becomes cumbersome for users when there are many fields on the form. A check box widget checks/unchecks on a single click, but edit and combo boxes need multiple clicks.

Thanks

Guy

Hello Guy,

So far no such behavior has been reported, so I logged it in our backlog to fix it: PdfViewer: When VariableContentWidget the widget edit mode is triggered on the second mouse click. I am afraid I cannot provide you with a workaround until this bug is fixed. Please, make sure you are following the item using the Follow button, so you can receive status changes updates. I am sorry for the inconvenience this issue might be causing you.

In appreciation for bringing this to our attention, I updated your Telerik points.

Regards,
Martin
