This is a problem that has existed for years, are actions currently being taken to solve it or is there a version where it is solved?

Could you please share some more details about the scenario at hand? If you are referring to a specific Bug Report in our Feedback Portal I'd be happy to inform you about its status. 

Alternatively, please consider sharing an isolated project or a Dojo that showcases the experienced behavior. This will allow me to further investigate the experienced behavior.
