We have updated our enterprise SPA application to the latest Angular 20.

Does Native Angular Report Viewer - Kendo UI for Angular support the latest Angular 20?

Hi Sagar,

The latest version for Angular - v20, was released on May 28th, which is a couple of days after our newest Reporting release - Telerik Reporting - Progress® Telerik® Reporting 2025 Q2 (19.1.25.521).

Considering that the new version was released after our release, we haven't been able to test it with it and cannot guarantee that it will work without issues on Angular 20. However, the latest version at the time - Angular 19, is officially supported.

Regarding the Kendo UI for Angular product, they do officially support Angular 20 according to the docs - Angular System Requirements - Kendo UI for Angular, though you need to use v19.1.0 or a newer version of the packages.

Our Native Angular Report Viewer is built with components from the Kendo UI for Angular library and if you are using a version of the library that supports Angular 20, I would expect the report viewer to function as normal also.

I hope that the provided information is helpful. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Regards,
Dimitar

Hi Dimitar,

With the new release Q3 it doesn't support Angular 20. When do you have this on the roadmap?

Hi Martijn,

Indeed, we were unable to include support for Angular 20 for the Native Angular Report Viewer in the 2025 Q3 release.

Our goals are to provide support for it as soon as possible, which would be the Q4 release later this year, at the earliest.

We will update the status of the Angular Report Viewers support Angular 20 item as soon as the item has been planned for a release, or is in development.
