We're migrating from Data Dynamics (GrapeCity) Active Reports to Telerik Reports.  The majority of the reports have been migrated, but we are a bit stymied by the last report.  If you could please take a look at the attached PDF and make a suggestion on how to attack it using Telerik Reporting that would be extremely helpful.  We're good with the first 3 columns, it is the last two that present a challange.  The key to understand is that the "standards" show in column five are grouped and located based on the "topics" shown in column 4.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hello Chris,

Based on the provided screenshot, we are guessing that each Topic has its own set of Standards. If this is correct, then a suitable structure for this report would be to use a Table item, and nest another Table item inside it. After that nest a List item inside the inner table. Then feed the nested data items (Table and List) with data as described in the How to use the ReportItem.DataObject property in expressions help article. You may need to reorganize your data in order to be able to implement the approach described in the help article.

The suggested report layout above is shown in greater detail in this screenshot.

If you have additional questions, please elaborate further on your data structure, so we can provide more specific suggestions.

Thank you for the information.  I almost have it.  I was able to use one table, and a list in column 5.  However, the list of "standards" in column 5 is spaced out evenly over the height of the "topic" data in column 4.  I have attached a screen shot for you to see exactly what I am talking about.  I would like to have the "standards" listed tight together with white space after.

In column 5 I added a list control which automatically brings in a panel.  I then added an html text box to the panel.  I have also attached screen shots of the list, panel, and htmltextbox definitions.

I am hoping you can tell me the one last piece that will make this report complete.  Thank you again.

Hello Chris,

Before nesting the List item, place a Panel item inside the Table cell. Then nest the List item inside that Panel. This will make the standards to be listed one after another without the extra white space between them.
