I have several subreports within a main report.  They contain a number of textboxes which line up with textboxes in the main report.  In the report viewer and designer, they appear perfect, but when exported to Word, the textboxes in the subreports are off so that they no longer line up to the main report textboxes and it is not a presentable report in the eyes of my client.  Is there any way to fix this?

Hi Jes,

Every document reader such as MS Word, OpenOffice, LibreOffice etc. handles positioning of items differently so all we can do is make sure it looks as close as possible to the original. To minimize such problems to minimum, align your items carefully in the designer, using the "snap to lines" and "snap to grid" modes whenever possible. To organize many items together in columns and rows consider using the Table, Crosstab or List report item instead. For Word rendering extension specifics, please refer to the Design Considerations for Word Rendering help article.
