Sub Report Parameter not getting set

Hi, I am loading main report and sub report data source programmatically and the both the reports load data correctly
Now I want to filter sub report data based on the main report.

For Example list orders by product. So I am setting Product ID parameter value to the product ID from the main report. Problem is that this is not getting passed or available during sub report generation. I verified this by display parameter value on the support and it is blank.

The provided information is insufficient to determine what the problem might be. We recommend reviewing the How-To: Creating Master-Detail Reports Using SubReports help article that elaborates on master/detail setup. You can also see this approach in action in the Invoice demo report that is shipped with the product (you can open the VS examples from Start menu).

If you need further help, please elaborate how you bind the report/subreport and how/where do you apply filter for the SubReport?

Hi Steve,

I am using trial version of Telerik Reporting Q2, 2013 and evaluating this product so that I may purchase licences for my developers. I am trying to create the Master Detail Report as guided in documentation on the following link.

But I could not find the expected results. Sub-Report is not getting filtered out on the basis of master table data. I have passed the parameter parameters in the detail report but detail report is showing all the rows in the table. It is not being filtered on basis of parameter.

One more thing, I am using Entity DataSource in both master and child.

When I click on the preview tab. Data is not garbage, it is the same data which exists in my database but for each master record, it is showing all records of detail table. It should show only relevant details record against each master record. I have applied all the steps.

Does this issue exist in current trial version provided by Telerik?

Please reply as soon as possible so that I may take decision as I have shortage of time.
