I'm struggling to style the MapCommandBar because I can't find the properties referred to in the Styling the MapCommandBar article e.g. MapButtonBackground. Where can I set that? It doesn't exist in the generated default MapCommandBar or RadMap style templates

Thanks,

Simon

Hello Simon,

The MapButtonBackground along with the other resources specified in the article are brushes, which are used in various places in the RadMap. You can edit their values in Microsoft Blend or altenatively you can extract their default values from the theme's xaml file and edit them.

For example, for the RadMap, the path will be "Themes.Implicit\{your theme}\Themes\Telerik.Windows.Controls.DataVisualization.xaml". In the Telerik.Windows.Controls.DataVisualization.xaml file, you can find all of the mentioned brushes, extract them and edit them appropriately.

I hope you find this helpful.
