I am experiencing a very strange behavior in my charts when I hover and move the cursor up or down the tooltip and the market moves to the left or right instead of being fixed at the crosshair position. Am I missing some simple setting for this?

Could you please create a dojo example with sample data that replicates the issue:
One thing that could be causing the problem on your side is the number of points, which seems to cause a huge lag when hovering over the Chart. I could suggest testing with less number of points to see if that will make any difference.
