Strange Connecting Lines Issue

Our team is planning on using the Diagram control to do an Org Chart not all that different than the one in the demo.  But the lines are drawing in a way that doesn't represent the data.

Any suggestions on how to get to draw cleanly?

I am not sure if I understand correctly the issue. Could you clarify what you mean by:
the lines are drawing in a way that doesn't represent the data
The shapes seems to be correctly connected based on the data.

Please look at the Dojo example and this screen shot. Several connector lines are draw on top of the content cards.  The lines are making abrupt unnecessary bends and turns where we are expecting them to draw straight and make a single 90 degree turn without overlapping.

Hello again Ken,

Thank you for clarifying. The connections overlapping the shapes in some cases is a known issue that is currently logged in our system for further investigation. Since this seems to be a problem that more and more users encounter, I will escalate the issue and hopefully it will be resolved for the service pack.

Thank you for the response.  What is the typical cycle of a service pack?  Are those the once a quarter releases or do they come out monthly?  

I have a project with a large client that will be using this tool and need to make a decision on how to proceed.   As of now, this issue will cause major concern for our client.

Any rough timeline estimates would be very helpful to us in making that decision.
