Hi,

So I'm trying to stop our reports from auto-loading and the only viable way seems to be stopping the date parameter from auto loading the current date.

I've tried setting the default value to NULL or random strings in both the report designer and XML (see attachments) to try and cause an error to stop the reports auto loading but it still sets the date to today regardless of what I set the initial value to.

Is there a way to achieve what I'm looking for?

Hi Richard,

If I understood correctly, you have а DateTime parameter and the current date is set as a value of the parameter if you don't set the Value property. I have made some tests, but I wasn't able to reproduce such behavior. For example, if I add a DateTime report parameter, set AllowNull to True, and leave the Value empty, no date is selected when I run the report. The sample report that I used can be found attached.

Hi Neli

I'm afraid I can't open that file (see attachment for error) I'm using the R3 2016 version of telerik report designer. I'm also using trdx reports not trdp's.
