I'm using the online ThemeBuilder: http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/themebuilder/

I select a design, lets say 'Material Black'. I then choose to start the Kendo UI ThemeBuilder. It has a little think and then lets me pick between web or DataViz. However, a few of the styles have now broken. For example, notifications all have a blue border around them whereas before the border colour was a darker shade of the background colour. The tab strip is another example, the selected tab is now pure white (making the text un-readable). Also drop down list backgrounds have gone white whereas before they were a dark grey.

Is this a known problem? Any workaround?

I'm using latest Chrome (40) on Win 8.1.

It's not just the material theme, it's every* theme. I'll provide a list of of examples I see, although I haven't meticulously studied these so there could be more changes in each.

Default - Notifications border
Metro - Notifications border, Calendar title and date
Flat - Notifications border, Treeview arrow (circle to square), borders on Grid/TabStrip/PanelBar change, icon text opacity changes (see date picker icon)
Boostrap - Notifications border, Grid filter icon, Slider colour, TabStrip non-active colour, Splitter border

I think at the very least the notifications borders are always reset across all of them. Other changes seem less consistent.

*all the ones I could be bothered to try
