Hi,

How can we sort a table data clicking on a header and without making a backend API call Telerik report table.? Please provide an example solution for this.

Hello Nithin,

You can use the Sorting Action. As an example of using Sorting Action I suggest to check our Product Sales demo report (Grand Total column). The Product Lines.trdp report is available in our examples that come with the installation of Telerik Reporting and can be found in the (Telerik Reporting installation folder)\Report Designer\Examples (for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Progress\Telerik Reporting R2 2018\Report Designer\Examples).
Note that upon displaying the report in a Web viewer every time the sorting order is modified the report will be re-rendered, hence requests to the REST Service cannot be avoided.

Regards,
