Hi,

I have a lot of reports which use many parameters, most of which are multiselect and allow null, where null means 'select all'.  Is there a way to customise the parameter area in the WPF reporting control so that rather than displaying the word NULL with a checkbox beside the dropdown, it can display the word ALL?

Thanks

Hello harlowhair,

The WPF viewer is a template that can be easily edited with Blend and customized according to your needs. More information is available in the Creating Style in Expression Blend help article.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply - following that tutorial, I am getting an error as soon as I go to Edit Template -> Edit a copy in blend, as in the attached image.  The error message reads:

'''{DependencyProperty.UnsetValue}' is not a valid value for the 'System.Windows.Controls.Control.Template' property on a setter"

Could you help?

Thanks
Rob

Hello Rob,

We were not able to reproduce such a problem (see video) on our end and we've not seen this error so far. Our advise is to use our sample WPF demo to get the viewer template and use it in your actual app.

All the best,
