Hello
I tried the Silverlight Reporting Viewer online Demos.
Unfortunately the Report goes to an pdf file called "export" and not directly to the printer.
Is it possible to get the "Printer Dialog"?
I don't like to install on all clients a pdf Viewer to print a report!!
Thanks,
Manuel

Hello Manuel,
In the current version, the Telerik Silverlight viewer support Silverlight 3 which does not support native print and that is why we have implemented our own way through pdf export.
In the next milestone release (Q3 2010), we would drop the support for Silverlight 3 and move to Silverlight 4, thus would be using the native print it has.
We cannot offer any workaround for the time being.
Greetings,
Steve

Hello Steve,
thank you for this important information.
Are you going to use the rendering engine of Silverlight 4 or of MS SQL Server?
Because the Express Version of SQL Server 2008R2 does not support Rendering Extensions.'
Thank you,
Manuel

Is native print planned for the Q3 release? (the PDF step is also a "showstopper" for my implementation needs)

Hi Christoph,
I've already noted in my previous reply that we're planning support for the native Silverlight print in Q3.
Sincerely yours,
Steve

"would" didn't exactly read like "it will be done". Is there a preview already available that I could test?
