How do you show the details to the user without needing to be in edit mode?

Like in month view I'm seeing 8-12 characters of the event title...

There doesn't seem to be an event click event to hook into to open a window or something, know what I mean?

You could use the change event.

Steve,

Yes, this is a new event added in the 2013 Q3 release of the Web widgets. I was working through displaying event details in a UIKit modal last week and had this same issue; an update to this new version allowed the event to fire properly.

If you have any other questions on this implementation, I would be more than willing to hep out as I just built something similar.
