selectable not working - no CHANGE event in latest version

I just updated to 2012.3.1114 and all of my Grid code that uses selectable: "row" and a change: function do not work??

I click a row or cell in the Grid and nothing happens - no event is fired.

The on-line demo for Grid selection does not use a change function so hard to tell if something has changed?

This is a big issue for me .. please can you tell me if this is a bug or has something changed with row selection / change ?

UPDATE:

This appears to be a CHROME issue on Windows 8.  Running the same code in IE10 works....

Hello John,

Unfortunately Grid selection in Windows 8 / Chrome does not work. We are aware of this behavior and will do our best to introduce support for it for Q3 SP Release of Kendo UI. However at the moment I cannot commit to a certain date of the release.

Hello Dino,

Since Q3 2012 SP1 release of Kendo UI we introduced support for various touch devices. You can check more recent build of Kendo UI. Here is the demo site with Q1 2013 Beta release(the latest official release). Q1 2013 official release will be issued in a couple of days.
