Is there a limit on the length of the select command text for the TableAdapter?
Is there an easy way to bind the report to a Stored Procedure without passing any parameteres (i am using vb)?

Hello Clifford Lane,
I guess you are talking about the DbDataAdapter class. For more information on the matter, please see SelectCommand Property help topic on MSDN.
Regarding the second question it depends on the particular stored procedure definition: if it requires any arguments you should provide values for them.
