Hello,
We tried to reproduce the reported issue on our side, but we did not have much success. Can you please confirm whether you are using the XAML styles that come with the official release alongside assemblies from the SP? We made some changes in the visual states that control the SearchPanel visibility, which can be related to such behavior?
