Scaling issue when printing report

When we print a report from WinUI report viewer, it looks like small scaled or resized report content. This is happened only when we containerized Telerik reporting service. You can see the screenshots below to compare.

The scaling issue happening only when printing, but when you export everything is fine. How we should fix this issue?

Hi Tursunkhuja,

If I understood correctly, you use the WinUI Report Viewer with a Reporting REST Service. When you deploy the REST Service on a Docker container, there is a scaling problem when printing from the viewer. Do you use Linux or Windows on the container?

Generally, the desktop viewers, when printing, render or request the reports in IMAGEPrint format - see Available Export Formats. When the document is served by the REST Service, the rendering is with the DPI settings of the server machine.

The scaling of the exported document may be controlled by the dpiAware Element. I suggest testing reconfiguring this element in the configuration file of your REST Service.

Your suggestion fixes the problem partially. There is support ticket opened with this question. I replied to that ticket.
