Hi,

I can not end the Scaffolding dialog (see http://http//docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/aspnet-mvc/helpers/chart/scaffolding )

The Add Button and the Series Type Combobox from Chart Option s is alway enabled.

Any ideas, what could be wrong?

Before I crated a EF6 Model from a SQL Database and use a Class for a table  or view.

Peter

I have the same issue with all Telerik scaffolding using 2016.2.714

To recreate:

- Create new Telerik ASP.NET Core MVC application using .NET 4.6.2

- Create a model

- In Controllers folder add new Telerik UI scaffolding (all controls have the same issue)

- Note that the Add button is disabled, regardless of what settings are set.

Can't attach project as it is 22 MB zipped and their is a limit of 2MB on this thread.

Very, very frustrating!

I just noticed this is caused by the Data Context drop down is not populated with any value. I am using EF Core with database first design. There are not Entities files create only DbContext file. How do we get the scaffolding to recognize the DbContext file?

Hello Scott,

The Kendo UI Scaffolder does not currently support ASP.NET Core projects. Please excuse us for the caused inconvenience.

I am experiencing this issue with Visual Studio 2015, UI 2016.3.1028, .net 4.5.2, MVC5. Has there ever been a resolution?

Thanks!

John

Hello John,

The discussed issue is only related to MVC Core projects, as the Scaffolding is not supported in such. Could you provide further details about the current behavior on your end, so we could assist in resolving the problem?
