Thank you for your interest in our product.
Indeed, having an end user report designer available at runtime is a great idea and it is part of our future plans.
However, I cannot provide you with the exact version in which we will add this feature, but we will do our best to implement it in the near future.
Sincerely yours,
the Telerik team

Hello everybody,
I'm interesting in your software, for build the reports of my company. But, before to take a decision, I must to know when the users can customize your reports at runtime. Do you know an aproximality date? It isvery important for comunicate it to my boss.
Thanks a lot.
There is no specific date for end-user-designer implementation yet, but we would most probably work on it for Q1~Q2 next year.
Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.
All the best,

Hi Jeroen,
We provide three Report Designer Tools:
- Web Report Designer - a widget that allows developers to bring the report editing functionality directly to their web applications.
- Standalone Report Designer is a standalone desktop application that features an easy to use environment. The executable file starting the application is Telerik.ReportDesigner.exe. By default, it will be deployed upon installation of the product in '(Telerik Reporting installation folder)\Report Designer' folder. For example, 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Progress\Telerik Reporting R3 2019\Report Designer'. It works with XML report definitions packaged in a zip archive (.TRDP) or in plain legacy format (.TRDX):
- Visual Studio Report Designer - a report authoring tool that runs in Visual Studio, it works with .NET type report definitions (.CS or .VB files).
Let us know if you need further information.
